Meet the team

Muir – Scottish Worldonian - 50
Mid-life crisis

Man of many skills, master of none. He has been known as Mr Gadget, not after this trip, as most will have been sold towards paying for it.
Muir is an engineer, techie, lock pick, chef, amateur collector, bookworm, and sometimes father; he is also the official team leader and sponsor. If not for being the only one with a drivers license, Muir has few, if any skills that would appear relevant to this endeavour.

Jon – South African adopted Scot - 26
An aversion for anything mechanical

Has had a phobia since childhood of getting anything done, plans many things achieves a few. Suffers from car sickness (must remember to take his medication with). Also needs to pass his drivers test.

Jon is the official team Negotiator and philosopher. Employing a pleasant and thoughtful demeanour, Jon dispenses free advice weekdays to the plants (they don’t listen) and every weekend at a burger van on the mean streets of Aberdeen (really). We anticipate that his smooth, persuasive ways and quiet influence will come in handy when dealing with border guards, those requiring bribes, elected officials, and anyone with a gun.

Gary - Scottish - 25
Well known party animal

Gary our newest member of the team, will be contributing extra entertainment value. He will be employed as chief shovel operator and entertainment co-ordinator.

Gary can usually be found working his charms and drilling holes in his local pub, at all other times he can be found offshore. He has some travel experience - for which he is still undergoing therapy. Don't mention the Mongolian Death Worm or any Bugs or Beasties. Gary is hoping to get a sponsor to keep his hair style alive!!!

Lean Green Mongol Machine – Anglo French Descent - Reg 2001

She now has a personal number plate.

Enough said!
